Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensed Pharmacist in the state where the facility operates.
• Two years of pharmacy experience preferred.
• De-escalation certification required within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Accurately fill medication orders and verify staff work before release.
• Prioritize workflow to ensure timely preparation of STAT, NOW, and urgent orders.
• Review patient profiles to ensure safe, appropriate drug therapy and prevent adverse reactions.
• Evaluate orders based on patient factors like age, weight, labs, and disease state.
• Provide drug information, staff education, patient consultation, and collaboration with Medical Staff.
