Perimeter Behavioral Hospital of Arlington is seeking a PRN Pharmacist to join our behavioral healthcare team. This role emphasizes safe, accurate, and effective medication management within a multidisciplinary team.

You will work with physicians, nurses, and staff to ensure optimal patient care in a flexible PRN role. Qualified candidates hold a Texas pharmacist license and have experience in hospital settings; strong communication and clinical judgment are essential to support patient safety

Formación

• Graduation from an accredited School or College of Pharmacy.
• Active pharmacist license in Texas.

Responsabilidades

• Dispense medications accurately per federal/state requirements.
• Review orders and records for dosing, interactions and safety.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and treatment team.
• Maintain control over procurement, storage, and dispensing.
• Dispense controlled substances and maintain inventories.
• Inspect storage areas and maintain records.
• Ensure proper labeling, storage and distribution of meds.
• Maintain pharmacy licenses, inventories and regulatory docs.
• Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement.
• Educate patients/families and staff on medications.
