Job summary

Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital in Sullivan, MO is seeking a Nursing Assistant/ CNA role to provide direct patient care during night shifts. The position supports licensed nurses, delivers ADL assistance, and helps maintain safety and comfort for patients. Night hours include 7p–7:30a with every 3rd weekend and rotating holidays.

Preferred qualifications include CNA, Nurse Assistant, EMT, or Surgical Tech experience. High school diploma required; no prior experience necessary.

Responsibilities

• Implements direct patient care under the supervision of the nurse, promoting patient and family centered care in a healing environment.
• Collects clinical data and information on patients, and reports changes in patient status to the nurse.
• Assists nurse with patient and family education. Documents all patient care activities with correct medical terminology.
• Acts as 1:1 patient safety sitter as necessary.
• Ensures availability of supplies and equipment to meet each patient's needs.
• Participates in activities that promote patient safety, quality and regulatory compliance.
