Responsibilities

• Welcomes patients and visitors to the office and directs questions to appropriate staff members.
• Checks patients in and out for scheduled visits.
• Verifies insurance coverage and educates patients about services.
• Collects co-pays and reconciles payments.
• Maintains accurate patient records and documentation in the EHR.
• Assists with appointment scheduling and portal setup.
• Monitors voicemails and portal messages and relays information to providers.
• Keeps reception area organized and supports clerical tasks.
