Job summary

Family Care Center in Lone Tree, CO is seeking a Patient Service Representative to greet patients, manage intake and support staff in a busy behavioral health clinic. High school diploma and at least 1 year of customer service are required; medical front desk experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of customer service experience required.
• One year of medical front desk receptionist or administrative experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes patients and directs questions to appropriate staff members.
• Checks patients in and out for scheduled visits adhering to 5-Star patient care standards.
• Schedules, reschedules and cancels patient appointments in alignment with provider schedules.
• Verifies insurance coverage and collects co-pays; documents in the EHR.
• Maintains and updates patient records; ensures accuracy of demographic and insurance information.
• Relays messages and supports front desk operations; keeps reception area neat and organized.
