Job summary

Valleywise Health is seeking a Nursing House Supervisor Assistant in Behavioral Health to deliver professional nursing care under the supervision of the Nurse Manager and collaborate with the Nursing House Supervisor. You will perform assessments, medication administration, and care planning while ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to policies.

The role requires at least 2 years of Behavioral Health RN experience, a current AZ RN license, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

Must possess a current AZ RN license and be in good standing.
BLS certification required; CPI certification and BLS training provided on hire.
Prefers a bachelor’s degree or higher in Nursing.
Minimum 2 years of Behavioral Health RN experience.

Responsibilities

Provide age-specific nursing care in collaboration with the physician and other disciplines.
Perform patient assessment, medication administration, and develop plans of care.
Document all required information and maintain records per Valleywise Health policies.
Indirectly supervise ancillary personnel and participate in quality improvement activities.
Promote cost-effective, patient-centered care in a diverse environment.
