Job summary

Highland Rivers Behavioral Health is seeking a Senior Director of Nursing to lead nursing services across outpatient and residential programs. You will supervise RNs, LPNs, and medical assistants, coordinate with infection control, and drive policy, training, and program development to ensure high-quality behavioral health care.

You will participate in the Leadership Team, oversee audits, and manage staff recruitment and development, while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations

Qualifications

• Directly supervises RNs and LPNs providing services to behavioral health clients.
• Leads nursing staff and medical assistants, with HR paperwork and monthly supervision.
• Shapes policy, procedures, and program development for compliance and quality.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, assign and manage nursing and medical assistant clinical duties for outpatient and residential programs.
• Participate on Leadership Team with managers/directors to address administrative needs.
• Coordinate with Infection Control to monitor reports and incidents.
• Ensure monthly nursing audits and provide feedback on best practices.
• Lead staff recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing training; maintain records for HR.
• Provide in-service training and maintain current clinical knowledge.
• Collaborate with CMO, CC OpsO, and Chief Crisis Officer on policy and new protocols.
• Chair Medical Management Committee meetings to resolve issues and review policies.
