The Springs at The Waterfront in Vancouver, WA is seeking experienced Medication Technicians to support residents in independent, assisted living, and memory care settings. You will administer medications, monitor health indicators, and collaborate with the care team to ensure compassionate, high-quality resident care.

Qualified candidates hold NAC or HCA, WA Nurse Delegation, and Diabetes Delegation credentials and can work full- or part-time hours.

Qualifications

• Current NAC or HCA certificate required.
• WA Nurse Delegation certification required.
• WA State Diabetes Delegation focus noted.
• Must be 18 years of age and pass background check.
• Experience in high-volume medication settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications to residents and assist with self-administration.
• Measure vital signs and monitor residents’ health status.
• Communicate with physicians and offices regarding orders.
• Implement medication orders accurately and timely.
• Observe and report any resident changes to the care team.
• Perform other duties as directed by supervisor.

The Springs at The Waterfront is situated along the southern facing Vancouver riverfront and will provide approximately 250 private residences for those 62 and older. This state-of-the-art,12-story senior living community will offer a variety of floor plans that feature stunning views. Job Description

The Springs at The Waterfront is looking for experienced and compassionate Medication Technicians. As a Med Tech, you contribute to the mission of helping our residents live their lives to the fullest. You will serve as a leader to others on the floor during your shift while administering medications to our residents, working closely with other providers, and communicating with all parts of the resident’s care team as needed.

Responsibilities

• Administration and assistance with self-administering medications to residents.
• Measure vital signs including, weight, height, blood pressure, etc.
• Communicating with physicians and their offices.
• Implementing medication orders.
• Observe, report, and document any resident changes, and inform appropriate parties.
• Other duties as directed by the RSC, DHS, or Administrator.

Qualifications

• Current Nursing Assistant Certified (NAC) certificate or Home Care Aide (HCA) certificate required
• WA Nurse Delegation Certificate required
• WA State Special Focus in Diabetes Delegation
• Must be 18 years of age
• Must be able to pass background check and drug test
• Ability to lift, pull, push up to 35 lbs routinely
• 2+ years experience administering meds in high volume setting highly preferred

Job Type: Full time & Part time.

Salary

The Springs Living provides a competitive compensation package for the Medication Technician position, with an hourly wage of $19-$23.50 per hour, depending on experience.
