Compass Health Network is seeking a Community Behavioral Health Liaison to connect individuals in behavioral health crises with the right care. The role coordinates with law enforcement, courts, and crisis teams to ensure coordinated, person-centered support in the community.

The position covers multiple counties, requires travel, and emphasizes advocacy for individuals with complex behavioral health needs. Full-time and benefit-eligible, it offers a weekday schedule with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have High School/GED.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a human services field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and coordinate local systems of care that connect individuals with behavioral health needs to services in collaboration with law enforcement, courts, jails, and crisis teams.
• Partner with Crisis Intervention Teams (CIT) and specialty/diversion courts to support safe, timely, recovery-oriented responses.
• Provide consultation, training, and coordination to justice and public safety partners to improve behavioral health awareness and response.
• Support crisis assessment, resource linkage, and diversion efforts—prioritizing access to treatment.
• Maintain a community-based presence across assigned regions to ensure responsiveness and collaboration.
• Be an essential part of a multidisciplinary, person-centered care team.
