North Texas Behavioral Health Authority (NTBHA) in Dallas seeks a Liaison-Law Enforcement and Municipal Court. You will coordinate care across law enforcement, EMS, and municipal courts, guiding follow up, post-hospital engagement, and appropriate behavioral health referrals.

The role requires collaboration with partner agencies, supervision of care coordinators, and travel within NTBHA counties. A 4-year degree and crisis response experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or a related behavioral health field.
• Minimum of two years of experience in community mental health with severe mental illness and substance use disorders.
• Experience with crisis response teams and courts is preferred.
• Knowledge of Texas crisis response requirements and NTBHA service area resources.

Responsabilités

• Use NTBHA’s approved curriculum and assessments with clients according to abilities and status.
• Coordinate care with law enforcement, EMS, and municipal courts for follow up and engagement.
• Supervise care coordinators and conduct direct care coordination as needed.
• Communicate progress, barriers, and needs with partner agencies and NTBHA staff.
• Develop programs with courts to connect clients to community resources.
