Queen of Peace Center in St. Louis is seeking a Community Behavioral Health Liaison (CBHL).

The CBHL coordinates care for justice-involved adults with complex mental health and substance use needs, connecting them to behavioral health services and community resources. Working with law enforcement, courts, and community partners, you will facilitate referrals, ensure smooth care transitions, and support crisis response and system coordination while upholding trauma-informed, person-centered

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a closely related behavioral health field.
• Must meet Missouri qualifications as a QMHP or QAP.
• Knowledge of behavioral health systems, crisis response services, civil commitment processes, and justice system operations.
• Ability to complete Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) training within six months of hire.
• Proficiency in crisis intervention, care coordination, professional presentations, and clinical documentation.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel within the service area as required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison between behavioral health providers, law enforcement agencies, courts, jails, and other community partners to improve coordination of care and service access.
• Coordinate referrals, treatment linkage, and care transitions for justice‑involved individuals with behavioral health and substance use needs.
• Identify and address system barriers through collaboration, problem‑solving, and stakeholder engagement.
• Provide education, consultation, and resource information to law enforcement, court personnel, and community partners regarding behavioral health services and crisis response options.
• Assist with civil commitment procedures and facilitate access to inpatient psychiatric placement when clinically appropriate.
• Support officer wellness initiatives and promote awareness of available behavioral health resources.
• Participate in local and statewide Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) activities, meetings, training events, and conferences.
• Maintain timely, accurate, and complete documentation, referrals, and service data within Care Manager and other required systems.
• Attend and successfully complete all required CBHL, CIT, and state‑sponsored training requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.
