Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of one year of related admissions, intake, healthcare administration, customer service, behavioral health, or office support experience.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience handling confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as a primary point of contact for patients, families, referral sources, and community partners.
• Conduct intake and admissions activities to connect individuals with appropriate behavioral health services.
• Assess patient needs and coordinate referrals to the appropriate level of care.
• Gather and maintain demographic, insurance, financial, and clinical information.
• Verify insurance coverage and assist with funding and payment questions.
• Enter and maintain patient information in the EMR system.
• Coordinate admission scheduling and hospital discharge follow-up appointments.
• Respond professionally to inquiries and provide information about available services.
• Handle crisis calls calmly and appropriately, following established procedures.
• Support clinicians and interdisciplinary teams by obtaining and organizing necessary documentation.
