Job summary

SUN Behavioral Kentucky is seeking an experienced registered nurse to support behavioral health assessments and admissions. The role focuses on triage, scheduling face-to-face evaluations, and coordinating with physicians to determine the most appropriate level of care.

You will manage crisis calls, document thoroughly in the hospital information system, and refer patients to community resources when needed. A Kentucky RN license and CPR certification are required.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Kentucky.
• CPR certification required.
• 1–3 years in behavioral health preferred.
• Experience with admission processes and coordination with physicians.
• Strong documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Answer inquiry calls and schedule assessments.
• Triage calls and provide crisis management guidance.
