Job summary

SUN Behavioral Kentucky is seeking a Nights shift Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive psychiatric and medical nursing care in Erlanger, KY. You will assess patients, develop and implement care plans, and administer medications within a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities include coordinating with physicians, therapists, and staff, maintaining safety, and documenting care per hospital policies. Experience in behavioral health and CPR/de-escalation certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires an associate degree in nursing and an active RN license in Kentucky.
• CPR certification and de-escalation certification required.
• Preferred: one year of behavioral health nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care through assessments, plans of care and treatments.
• Lead shift team and maintain a therapeutic milieu for safe patient care.
• Conduct admissions and daily nursing assessments; manage patient conditions.
• Administer medications per policy with safe practices.
• Document per SUN policies and coordinate patient care with the team.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists and other departments.
