The Lilac Center is an outpatient behavioral health practice dedicated to compassionate, evidence-based care. The Intake and Referral Coordinator serves as the primary contact for individuals seeking services and for referral sources, coordinating referrals for individual and group therapy, and ensuring timely access to care.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; bachelor's in related field preferred.
• 1-2 years in healthcare, behavioral health, case management, or referral management preferred.
• Experience with mental health programs advantageous.
• Experience with EHR/EMR systems preferred.
• Strong communication and rapport-building with clients and partners.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Receive, review, and process referrals for therapy services.
• Coordinate referrals from providers, schools, hospitals, insurers, and self-referrals.
• Maintain referral tracking and accurate documentation.
• Schedule intake appointments and therapy sessions.
• Assist enrollment into therapy groups based on clinical guidance.
• Manage waitlists and communicate timelines to clients and partners.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies.
