Job summary

County of Chester seeks a Contact Center Information and Referral Navigator to provide behavioral health service information and referrals. You will log data in the I&R software, maintain professionalism, and deliver excellent customer service while handling confidential information.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED with at least 1 year of customer service experience and familiarity with call management systems. Strong English communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school or GED with at least 1 year customer service experience.
• Knowledge of basic call management systems and telecommunications equipment
• Ability to interface effectively with all levels of County management
• Ability to maintain confidential information and handle confidential matters
• Ability to present self in a professional manner and interact positively with internal and external parties
• Ability to talk in clear speech and possess an excellent command of the English language
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
• Intermediate to Advanced PC skills and data entry
• Strong data entry skills
• Efficient use of technology
• Establish and maintain effective working relations with other Behavioral Health Contact Center employees and the public
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities

Responsibilities

• Answer resident calls and provide referrals for behavioral health services.
• Log information and referrals in the Behavioral Health Contact Center software.
• Represent the Department and County with high-level customer service.
• Maintain confidential information per policy.
• Follow guidelines and procedures set by the I&R Manager and leadership.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
