Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; knowledge of behavioral health workflows preferred.
• Experience with electronic health records and referrals management.
• Strong understanding of HIPAA and patient privacy requirements.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process all incoming behavioral health referrals from internal and external sources.
• Verify patient demographics and insurance eligibility; enter referrals into the EHR.
• Review referrals for completeness and obtain missing documentation.
• Obtain releases/consents and maintain referral workflows for timely access.
• Coordinate with clinicians, school personnel, providers, and agencies to place patients.
• Maintain accurate referral status documentation and monitor throughput.
