Job summary

Intermedia Group Inc. seeks a Chief Executive Officer for a 150-bed Behavioral Health Hospital in the Denver area. The CEO will oversee day-to-day operations, drive the strategic plan, ensure licensure and accreditation, and lead financial performance and staff development.

Qualifications

• BA required, preferably in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Marketing, Clinical or related discipline; MBA/MHA preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in senior leadership or CEO role in a behavioral health, acute care, and/or managed care environment or successful completion of CEO training program.
• Ability to lead successful licensure, accreditation, and compliance efforts in a behavioral health facility.
• Demonstrates thorough knowledge of facility administration and clinical operations.
• Strong working knowledge of financial management and business development processes.
• Ability to work professionally with sensitive, proprietary data & information while maintaining confidentiality.
• Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to interact effectively and professionally with individuals at all levels; both internal and external.
• Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and superior attention to detail.
• Must be able to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously within inflexible time frames. Ability to adapt to frequent priority changes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with the governing body in developing annual operating budgets and strategic plans.
• Manages day-to-day operations and staff to achieve objectives in patient care, fiscal management, licensure, accreditation and business development.
• Organizes management and operation of the hospital through delegation and alignment of responsibilities.
• Create and maintain a network of local constituency groups including government agencies and community.
• Appraises leadership team performance and provides coaching as appropriate.
• Ensure staff participation in facility-wide in-service and continuing education programs.
• Recruit allied health professionals and psychiatrists to expand services.
• Oversee contract negotiations and compliance with commercial payers; generate new revenue.
