Job summary

Austin Oaks Hospital seeks a talented Director of Business Development to lead Sales, Marketing and Customer Service. This role focuses on maximizing utilization of the continuum of care through strategic marketing, branding, and cross-department collaboration with the CEO and Admissions.

Local candidates strongly preferred, with 80% travel expected. As part of the facility management team you will shape growth opportunities, oversee staff development, and maintain strong relationships with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field required; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in business development for hospitals or medical services.
• Experience in behavioral health is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development and growth of profitable new business opportunities; implement marketing strategies to meet objectives.
• Liaise between the facility and payer entities in line with corporate expectations.
• Build and maintain a personal book of business with weekly face-to-face referrals.
• Strategically designate target markets for account managers and ensure team alignment.
• Maintain knowledge of target markets and status of referrals.
• Hire, onboard, and promote staff within the team.
