Job summary

Assistance-Plus in Maine seeks a Daily Living Support Specialist to assist adults with behavioral health needs at home and in the community. You will help clients maintain independence, safety, and emotional well-being, while coordinating with plans of care and supervising as required.

The role includes transporting clients within a 30-mile radius, attending monthly supervision, and completing training to earn MHRT/1 certification.

Qualifications

• Proof of vehicle insurance at $50K/$100K and a valid Maine driver's license is required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Entry level computer experience and must have access to email/internet.
• MHRT/1 certification (We will train you at no cost to you!).

Responsibilities

• Monitor the consumer's ability to function independently at home and in the community.
• Ensure the plan of care drives all service activities and maintains client safety.
• Attend and participate in clinical supervision (minimum four hours per month).
• Travel within 30 miles of home and transport clients within their communities.
