Job summary

Assistance-Plus is seeking a Daily Living Support Specialist to assist adults with behavioral health needs in their home and community. The role involves monitoring functional independence, ensuring safety, and transporting clients within a 30-mile radius from the employee's home.

The position requires a valid Maine driver’s license, proof of vehicle insurance, a high school diploma or equivalent, and MHRT/1 certification (training provided).

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and ability to use email/internet.
• Must have a valid Maine driver’s license.
• Proof of vehicle insurance at $50K/$100K is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• MHRT/1 certification or willingness to obtain (training provided).

Responsibilities

• Ensure the client plan of care drives all service activities.
• Ensure client safety in homes and community.
• Attend at least four hours per month of clinical supervision.
• Accumulate at least 20 hours of training annually.
• Travel within a 30 mile radius of home and transport clients.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

The Daily Living Support Specialist (DLSS) carries out services that focus on the specific needs of adults with behavioral health diagnoses.
