Job summary

Assistance-Plus seeks a Daily Living Support Specialist (DLSS) to help adults with behavioral health needs live safely at home and in the community. You will monitor functioning, assist with daily activities, and transport clients within a 30-mile radius when required.

The role requires a Maine driver’s license and vehicle insurance, plus MHRT/1 certification (training provided). A high school diploma is required, and you’ll engage in ongoing training and supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• MHRT/1 certification (training provided).
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Proof of vehicle insurance $50K/$100K and a valid Maine driver’s license required.
• Access to email/internet is required.

Responsibilities

• Follow the plan of care to drive all service activities.
• Ensure client safety in homes and communities.
• Attend a minimum of four hours per month of clinical supervision.
• Accumulate a minimum of 20 hours of training annually.
• Travel within a 30 mile radius and transport clients as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

The Daily Living Support Specialist (DLSS) carries out services that focus on the specific needs of adults with behavioral health diagnoses.
