COMPASS FAMILY AND COMMUNITY SERVICES is seeking a Behavioral Health Counselor to deliver individual and group counseling to residents with mental health and substance use needs. You will complete required paperwork and billing in line with agency policy.

You will provide assessments in outpatient, crisis, or residential settings, ensuring clinically sound decisions and timely documentation. A collaborative approach with supervision and referrals is essential.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s Degree in Counseling or Social Work and licensed in Ohio (LPC or LSW).
• Two years of mental health and substance abuse experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Provide clinical services/assessments in Outpatient, Crisis or Residential settings.
• Deliver clinical interactions reflecting competency and appropriate clinical judgments.
• Prepare accurate, timely documentation meeting guidelines and regulatory standards.
• Incorporate referral information into assessments and obtain collateral information as needed.
• Collaborate with the program manager to determine site and supervision protocols and assess care changes.
• Provide a minimum of 25 hours of billable services per week based on a 40-hour work week.
