Job summary

Northwest Specialty Hospital, serving the Northwest Reno area, is seeking a dynamic Certified Nursing Assistant for a full-time night shift in a new behavioral health service unit. The role emphasizes patient-centered care within a multidisciplinary team and supports safe, compassionate 24-hour care.

The CNA will provide bedside care, assist with therapies and medication management, and participate in individualized care plans for adults 18+.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited C.N.A program.
• Current Nevada C.N.A. license.
• Current BLS certificate.

Responsibilities

• Completes bedside shift report in the room at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Meets with supervising RN at the beginning of each shift to receive task delegation.
• Involves patient and family psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, cultural, and diversity needs in care.
• Follows facility policies to promote patient safety and proper environment and equipment use.
• Assists with toileting/ADL care and maintains patient supervision as required.

Education
