Job summary

Overlake Medical Center is seeking a Patient Care Technician / CNA for the Behavior Health Unit. This 0.7 FTE position features 8-hour night shifts in a 14-bed adult inpatient unit on the Eastside.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant Training Program or equivalent documented nursing training experience.
• Nursing Assistant Certification (NA-C) required.
• Medical Assistant Registration (MA-R) required post hire (Overlake Hospital will sponsor this licensure).
• Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers Certification (BLS) required.
• One-year recent experience in a health care setting involving patient contact preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and computer familiarity is preferred.
• Excellent customer service, oral and written communication skills.
