Job summary

Northwest Specialty Hospital in Reno, NV is seeking a dedicated CNA to join our 36-hour-per-week day shift team. You will provide safe, compassionate nursing assistant care and support the healthcare team within a patient-centered care framework.

As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will assist with ADLs, ensure safety, and help develop individualized care plans. The role includes bedside reporting, collaboration with the RN, and contributing to a high-quality patient experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited C.N.A program.
• Current Nevada C.N.A. license.
• Current BLS certificate.

Responsibilities

• Complete bedside shift report and provide patient with care team contacts.
• Meet with Supervising RN at shift start to receive delegated tasks.
• Address patient and family psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, and diversity needs in care.
• Follow facility policies to promote patient safety, equipment use, and safety protocols.
• Assist with toileting/ADL care and never leave the patient unattended unless relieved.
