Job summary

Universal Health Services in Reno, NV seeks a dedicated CNA for a full-time 36-hour week role supporting adult behavioral health services at Northwest Specialty Hospital, an NNMC extension. The position collaborates with physicians, nurses, social workers, and therapists to provide patient-focused care.

Responsibilities include bedside reporting, task delegation with the RN, and addressing patient/family needs within a safe, compassionate environment. Benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited C.N.A program.
• Current Nevada C.N.A. license.
• Current BLS certificate.

Responsibilities

• Completes bedside shift report and communicates care team details each shift.
• Meets with Supervising RN at shift start to receive task delegation.
• Involves patient and family needs in care (psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, diversity).
• Follows safety, environment, equipment, radiation, and fire prevention policies.

Education
