Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Behavioral Health Clinician to provide behavioral healthcare, counseling, case management, and clinical support services for Special Operations Forces (SOF) personnel and their families.

This role supports the psychological, social, and operational readiness of Service Members by addressing the unique challenges of military life, supporting recovery and resilience, and collaborating closely with interdisciplinary care teams, medical personnel, legal authorities, commanders,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• Current LCSW or LMSW license in the state of practice.
• Master's or doctoral degree with applicable clinical licensure/certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, family, group, and couples therapy and assess treatment adherence.
• Provide case management and supervise unlicensed providers or trainees as applicable.
• Maintain documentation in approved systems and collaborate with medical, legal, and military stakeholders.
• Apply evidence-based therapies and conduct clinical investigations as directed.
• Staff difficult cases with referring providers and clinical teams.
