Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Behavioral Health Clinician to provide behavioral healthcare, counseling, case management, and clinical support services for SOF personnel and their families. The role strengthens readiness by addressing military life challenges and collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams. U.S.

citizenship is required. Candidates must possess an active U.S. Government Secret security clearance or be eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance as required for contract

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, or experience.
  • Current LCSW or LMSW with license valid in the state of practice.
  • Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Counseling with applicable clinical licensure.
  • Must meet credentialing and privileging standards per Defense Health Agency procedures.
  • Minimum of two years of peer-reviewable clinical work in a mental health setting.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise a team of employees to build a high performance team.
  • Ensure adequate staff coverage for the program area.
  • Provide individual, family, group, and couples therapy as required.
  • Consult with medical personnel, military commanders, and school districts as needed.
  • Maintain required documentation and support program requirements.
