Job summary

Atlantic Medical Group in New Jersey is seeking a licensed behavioral health clinician to deliver short-term therapy within the collaborative care model in Sussex and Warren counties. You will work with medical teams to implement treatment plans, monitor progress, and support relapse prevention for patients with mental health or substance use needs.

The role emphasizes evidence-based brief interventions, care coordination, and timely documentation to ensure quality outcomes and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling or related field.
• LCSW or LPC license.
• Previous clinical or counseling experience.

Responsibilities

• Establish rapport with patients and provide individual therapy.
• Screen, assess, and monitor patients for mental health and substance use disorders.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment options, and relapse prevention.
• Provide brief, evidence-based behavioral interventions (e.g., CBT, behavioral activation).
• Collaborate with medical and psychiatric providers on a shared plan of care.
• Facilitate referrals and develop treatment goals with medical teams.
• Track treatment response and patient safety via clinical documentation.
