Job summary

BHS is seeking a Clinician I to assess, diagnose, and determine the appropriate level of care for clients. You will develop care plans, participate in a treatment team, and provide clinical services to clients as needed.

Under general supervision, you will document thoroughly, meet productivity goals, and stay compliant with regulatory standards while supporting staff and interns through orientation and training.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in behavioral health field with activeCA BBS registration (AMFT/ACSW/APCC)
• Ability to use MS Office, EMR, timekeeping and LMS systems
• Will require CA driver license and vehicle insurance if driving on BHS business

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop care plans within required time frames
• Maintain detailed client documentation and progress notes
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team and consult on cases
• Provide individual/group sessions and family education as needed
• Ensure compliance with DMH, DHCS, SAPC, HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2 and CARF standards
