Job summary

Behavioral Health Services Inc. in Los Angeles is seeking a Clinician I to assess, diagnose, and determine the appropriate level of care for clients. You will conduct comprehensive assessments, develop care plans, and provide clinical services within a multidisciplinary team setting.

You will maintain thorough documentation, participate in care coordination, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives while supporting client rights, safety, and confidentiality in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in behavioral health field.
• Active AMFT/ACSW/APCC registration with California BBS.
• Ability to operate EMR and Microsoft Office.
• Demonstrated cultural sensitivity and collaborative approach.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments and develop care plans within required time frames.
• Provide clinical services and participate in treatment planning.
• Maintain detailed client documentation within required time frames.
• Participate in multidisciplinary treatment teams and consult on client cases.
• Respond to emergencies, crises, and medication-related issues as needed.
• Coordinate with external partners to deliver integrated services.
• Engage in supervision, training, and quality improvement activities.
