Job summary

Catholic Community Services is seeking a Clinician I to deliver intensive behavioral health interventions for adults with chronic mental health needs. You will assess safety, develop treatment plans, and document in Medicaid-compliant records using EHR systems.

You will work in community and home settings, coordinating with team members and providers to ensure timely access to services, crisis stabilization if needed, and ongoing client progress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, behavioral science or related field.
• One year experience serving clients with chronic behavioral health needs.
• 21 years or older.
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and automobile insurance.
• Agency Affiliated License (HIV/AIDS training required) or applied for within 1st month of employment
• Must have an acceptable driving record per CCS’ driving policy (required to provide current driving abstract)
• First Aid/CPR certified or the ability to become certified within the 1st month of employment
• Proof of negative TB test within past 12 months or ability to test within first 6 months of employment
• Applicant must successfully pass required background checks prior to an offer of employment
• Ability to work independently in addition to working as a member of a team
• Demonstrates the necessary attitudes, knowledge and skills to deliver culturally competent services and work effectively in multicultural situations

Responsibilities

• Clinical Assessment & Engagement of Individual, Family, and Community.
• Engage client and family in intake and assess immediate safety needs.
• Gather information from medical and behavioral health providers for intake diagnosis.
• Deliver direct therapeutic services including CBT and other evidence-based practices.
• Complete Medicaid and WAC documentation for treatment planning and enrollment.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and accurate EHR entries.
• Coordinate healthcare with primary care physicians and specialists.
• Encourage client and natural supports in problem solving and planning.
• Transition planning to natural and community supports.

Education
