RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Behavioral Health Clinical Supervisor for the NEW POINT CAMPUS Emergency Screening department. This salaried leadership role focuses on supervising frontline providers, enhancing crisis intervention protocols, and ensuring a structured healing environment across the health system.

The position emphasizes mentoring staff, coordinating schedules, and implementing treatment planning with a focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Psychology, Sociology, Behavioral Health, or a related field is required.
• Minimum of two (2) years of post-master's experience in behavioral health/psychiatric/crisis intervention setting.
• Proven supervisory or clinical leadership experience required.
• Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing clinical supervision and mentorship to frontline psychiatric team members.
• Deliver direct clinical services, assessments, and crisis intervention protocols.
• Coordinate staff schedules to ensure appropriate coverage and approvals.
• Recruit, train, evaluate, and support staff development activities.
• Lead intake processes, service plan revisions, and discharge planning.
• Collect operational data, monitor productivity, and ensure policy compliance.
