Job summary

Pathways, Inc. is seeking a Behavioral Health Urgent Care (BHUC) Supervisor to provide direct clinical services, supervisory oversight, and operational support within the Behavioral Health Urgent Care and crisis continuum.

This position combines hands-on clinical care with staff supervision, care coordination, quality improvement, and collaboration with community partners to ensure timely, appropriate, and effective services for individuals experiencing behavioral health crises.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, MFT or nursing.
• RN must hold Psychiatric-Mental Health certification (ANCC).
• Actively pursuing independent licensure and comply with supervision requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct behavioral health and crisis assessments and determine appropriate levels of care.
• Provide crisis intervention, de-escalation, stabilization, safety planning, brief therapeutic interventions, and linkage to resources.
• Respond to Mobile Crisis and other crisis-service needs as assigned.
• Provide day-to-day supervision and clinical guidance to BHUC staff.
• Collaborate with BHUC Medical Supervisor and team to address barriers to service delivery.
• Monitor clinical documentation and program compliance with policies and standards.
• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and with community partners.
• Support follow-up services and care coordination.
• Assist with quality improvement initiatives and grant activities.
• Coordinate services with 988, Mobile Crisis, hospitals, EMS, law enforcement and providers.
