Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in a substance abuse treatment setting.
• Strong customer-oriented interpersonal and communication skills.
• Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems and regulatory requirements.
• Able to work independently and in a team in a high-volume environment.
• Excellent communication, sensitivity, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain written objectives, policies, and procedures for substance abuse counseling services.
• Provide or ensure at least one hour per week of direct clinical supervision to staff.
• Ensure counseling services align with client treatment plans and coordinate with other services.
• Ensure staff are appropriately licensed or credentialed per NJ regulations.
• Participate in budgeting, quality indicators, and program planning.
