Job summary

SEARHC is seeking a Behavioral Health Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of the Behavioral Health Clinic, including clinicians, case managers, SUD staff, psychiatric providers, nurses, and administrative staff. The role ensures access to patient care and efficient, patient-centered scheduling in line with SEARHC’s mission and values.

The position collaborates with division leaders to manage budgets, participate in accreditation, and drive data collection and reporting for behavioral health

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Associate’s degree in health-related or business field; substitutions may be made with 2 years of health/customer service experience.
• Minimum 3 years healthcare-related experience with progressive supervisory/management development.
• 2 years of customer service experience; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Healthcare leadership training/certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct staff in the planning, development, and implementation of day-to-day clinic operations.
• Implement administrative policies and procedures.
• Make certain that staff are consistently scheduled to effectively perform duties and tasks.
• Ensure scheduling staff actively fill appointments to improve access to care.
• Be available to staff to answer questions and facilitate solutions.
• Collaborate with other SEARHC departments to ensure effective clinic operations and regulatory compliance.
• Travel less than 10%.
• Identify areas of staff development and facilitate training in coordination with regional director.
• Address patient and other customer concerns and incorporate feedback into the development of protocols and procedures.
