Job summary

BayCare Health Systems in Clearwater, FL is seeking an experienced Behavioral Health Charge Nurse, RN, to join Morton Plant Hospital’s nursing team. This full-time, night-shift position requires leadership and clinical excellence in a patient-focused environment.

You will model professional behavior, mentor team members, and help share organizational information while delivering high-quality care. A Bachelor's in Nursing is required, with BLS and RN licensure.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• BLS certification required.
• Bachelor's in Nursing or psych certification within 7 months of hire.
• 2 years RN in an Acute Care setting.
• 1 year leadership experience preferred.
• Nurse Specialty - preferred.

BayCare Health Systems is currently seeking an experienced a Behavioral Health RN to join our outstanding and compassionate team at Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater!

• Facility: Morton Plant Hospital

• Location: Clearwater, FL

• Status: Full-Time, Exempt: No

• Shift Hours: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM

• Shift: Nights

• Weekend Work: Every Other

• On Call: No

The Charge Nurse is proficient in the care of a patient population utilizing effective managerial skills.

The Charge Nurse is responsible for:

• Acting as a professional role model for other members of the nursing team.

• Developing self and team members and sharing organizational information.

Required Certifications and Licensures:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• RN (Registered Nurse)

• Nurse Specialty - preferred

Required Education:

• Bachelor's in Nursing - Required or approved psych certification obtained within 7 months of hire.

Experience:

• 2 year RN in an Acute Care Setting

• 1 year of leadership experience - Preferred
