Qualifications

• 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience required.
• RN state licensure (or Compact) required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and supports nursing and support staff, delegating tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
• Evaluates staff performance, providing feedback and coaching to maintain high standards of care.
• Oversees assessment, planning, and evaluation of patient care and ensures care plans are followed.
• Collaborates with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and resolve flow issues.
• Ensures effective communication among physicians, patients, families, and hospital departments.
• Monitors patient flow, bed assignments and resource utilization.
• Participates in quality improvement initiatives and audits.
• Leads infection prevention efforts and adherence to PPE and hygiene protocols.
