TrueNorth Wellness Services seeks dedicated behavioral health staff to connect individuals with community resources, assist with housing eligibility, Medical Assistance, and link to mental health services. Applicants will screen court-involved individuals and apply trauma-informed practices in daily work.

The role emphasizes building rapport with clients, collaborating with various partners, and maintaining professional communication to meet diverse client needs in a busy service environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, sociology, behavioral health, Criminal Justice, social services or a similar field.
• Willing to travel to Fulton courthouse and Bedford County jail.
• Must have three clearances and training: PA ChildLine Clearance, PA State Police Clearance, FBI Fingerprint Check and Mandated Reporting training.
• Ability to learn Trauma-Informed Care and apply it in daily work.

Responsabilités

• Assist individuals by connecting them to community resources and services.
• Screen individuals involved in the court system for mental health concerns.
• Be well versed or willing to learn Trauma-Informed Care and practice in daily work environment.
• Build rapport with individuals needing behavioral health resources, including those in the justice system.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with other entities to meet client needs.
