Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in practice support in behavioral health settings.
• Understanding of behavioral health conditions and treatments.
• Strong communication skills, including both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, coordinating care across multiple providers including therapists, physicians, and community services.
• Advocate on behalf of patients to ensure they receive timely, appropriate care and represent their needs with healthcare providers, insurers, and other parties.
• Connect patients with resources such as therapy, support groups, financial assistance, and housing to support recovery.
• Provide emotional support, education, and guidance to patients and families about conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date records on patients’ cases, appointments, demographics, and communications.
• Provide crisis intervention and stabilization coordination when needed to ensure patient safety.
