Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is seeking caregivers to provide one-to-one behavior intervention services for individuals with behavioral challenges in Santa Rosa, CA. The role includes assisting with daily activities, personal care, and data collection under a Behavior Support Plan.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, CPR/First Aid certification, and experience with individuals with special needs. Flexible PT/FT schedules and comprehensive benefits are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience with children/adults with special needs who display challenging or aggressive behaviors.
• College coursework in psychology, education, social work, behavioral sciences or related field preferred.
• Current in-person CPR/First Aid certification for Adult & Children (or willing to get).
• TB test updated in past 90 days (or willing to get).
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one-behavior intervention services to individuals with behavioral challenges.
• Assist with daily program activities in the areas of self-help, communication, social, cognitive, motor and behavior and crisis intervention
• Assist client with personal care activities including bathing, oral hygiene, preparation and feeding of meals, dressing and undressing, ambulation and other activities as needed
• Implement and collect data of the behaviors and goals outlined in the Behavior Support Plan
