Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking an Intensive Behavioral Support Provider to work with individuals with developmental delays and challenging behaviors in a one-to-one setting.

The role involves implementing behavior intervention services, data collection, and assisting with daily activities and self-care tasks. Experience with special needs and related coursework are preferred; 18+ required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with children/adults with developmental delays or challenging behaviors preferred.
• College coursework in psychology, education, social work, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one behavior intervention services.
• Assist with daily program activities in self-help, communication, social, cognitive, motor and behavior areas.
• Assist with personal care activities including bathing, feeding, dressing, and mobility.
• Implement and collect data on behaviors and goals per Behavior Support Plan.

Responsibilities:

• Provide one-to-one-behavior intervention services to individuals with behavioral challenges
• Provides/assists with daily program activities in the areas of self-help, communication, social, cognitive, motor and behavior and crisis intervention
• Assist client with personal care activities including bathing, oral hygiene, preparation and feeding of meals, dressing and undressing, ambulation and other activities as needed
• Implement and collect data of the behaviors and goals outlined in the Behavior Support Plan

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Previous experience working in an educational or healthcare setting preferred
• At least one year of experience working with children/adults with special needs who display challenging or aggressive behaviors
• College coursework in psychology, education, social work, behavioral sciences or related field preferred
• Must be at least 18 years of age
