Job summary

The role requires a High School Diploma (preferred), a valid driver’s license, CPI certification within 90 days, CPR/AED/First Aid, and sobriety or recovery experience for specific divisions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred.
• Valid/unrestricted State Driver's License.
• Must obtain CPI certification within 90 days of hire.
• Must obtain and maintain CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications.
• Substance Use Division: 1 year sobriety (in recovery).
• Eating Disorder Division: 1 year recovery (in recovery).

Responsibilities

• Adheres to all DBH policies and procedures.
• Maintains patient safety and provides interventions.
• Leads psychoeducational groups and supports treatment planning.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient information and records.
• Documents shift notes, group notes, and other required documentation.
• Assists Nursing staff with duties and observes infection control policies.
• Supports patients during admission and discharge.
• Attends staff meetings and trainings and completes required trainings.
• Provides transportation-related duties as needed within program scope.

Education

High School Diploma (preferred)

Valid/unrestricted State Driver's License

CPI certification within 90 days of hire

CPR, AED & First Aid certifications

Substance Use Division: 1 year sobriety (in recovery)

Eating Disorder Division: 1 year recovery (in recovery)
