Job summary

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s in Social Work or related field, plus 1–2 years in behavioral health; CPR/Peer Recovery certification preferred. Proficiency with Word, Excel, and Outlook is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Counseling or related Human Service field preferred.
• CPRScertification preferred or CPRS certification within six months.
• 1-2 years of experience working in behavioral health setting.
• Knowledge of health care, detoxification process, addiction, co-occurring disorders, DSM Criteria, and terminology.
• Ability to read and interpret written information; write clearly and informatively; edits work for spelling and grammar.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Complete case management of all patient needs and develop plans of care.
• Coordinate services with doctors on plan of care.
• Implements, monitors and evaluates the plan of care and its effectiveness.
• Communicates regularly with staff and family on patient progress.
