Job summary

DeCoach Recovery Centre in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Medical Billing Specialist to manage the financial side of care by turning medical services into accurate insurance claims and ensuring payments are collected from insurers and clients.

You will verify coverage, submit claims, bill clients clearly, resolve denials, and post payments as part of a supportive, mission-driven team at our Sharonville headquarters.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• At least 2 years of medical billing or revenue cycle experience.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, with empathy.
• Comfort with technology, including Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Verify insurance and pre-authorizations before/during appointments.
• Submit Claims using medical codes and billing systems.
• Bill clients with clear statements of out-of-pocket costs and co-pays.
• Resolve denials and file appeals as needed.
• Post payments, reconcile accounts, and set up payment plans.
