Best Point Education & Behavioral Health is seeking a Behavioral Health Billing Specialist to manage insurance billing, resolve denials, post payments, and reconcile accounts. You’ll collaborate with Revenue Cycle, Finance, Intake, clinical teams, and school-based programs to support access to behavioral health services.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in accounting, healthcare administration, medical billing, business or related field preferred.
• 3+ years in billing, AR, healthcare revenue cycle, behavioral health billing, Medicaid/Medicare or third-party insurance preferred.
• Strong MS Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel), data entry, reporting, and reconciliation.

Responsabilités

• Verify Medicaid/Medicare/commercial insurance eligibility; assist clients with coverage questions.
• Submit and correct claims; manage denials and reimbursement guidance with internal teams.
• Post payments and reconcile accounts; support monthly financial accuracy.
• Provide financial assistance resources and track payment plans with internal stakeholders.
• Maintain Credible data, payer configurations and reporting; support system improvements.
