You will verify coverage, submit claims, bill clients clearly, resolve denials, and post payments as part of a supportive, mission-driven team at our Sharonville headquarters.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• At least 2 years of medical billing or revenue cycle experience.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, with empathy.
• Comfort with technology, including Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Verify insurance and pre-authorizations before/during appointments.
• Submit Claims using medical codes and billing systems.
• Bill clients with clear statements of out-of-pocket costs and co-pays.
• Resolve denials and file appeals as needed.
• Post payments, reconcile accounts, and set up payment plans.

About the Role

As a Medical Billing Specialist, you’ll manage the financial side of our care, turning medical services into accurate insurance claims and making sure payments are collected from insurers and clients. Your work matters: when billing is handled well, our clients can focus on what’s most important, their recovery. You’ll work out of our Sharonville headquarters as part of a supportive, mission-driven team.

What You’ll Do

• Verify insurance: Confirm coverage, benefits, and pre-authorizations before or during appointments so clients know what to expect
• Submit Claims: Use medical codes to prepare and send accurate claims to insurance companies
• Bill Clients with Clarity: Calculate out-of-pocket costs, deductibles, and co-pays, and send clear, easy-to-understand statements
• Resolve Denials: Track unpaid or rejected claims, find out what went wrong, correct errors, and file appeals
• Post Payments: Record insurer and client payments, reconcile accounts, and set up payment plans that work for our clients

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (associate or bachelor’s degree preferred)
• At least 2 years of experience in medical billing or a revenue cycle role
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to be both professional and empathetic
• Comfort with technology, including the Microsoft Office Suite
