Integrated Services for Behavioral Health is seeking a Billing Specialist to manage Medicaid billing processes and related AR tasks in Central Ohio. The role emphasizes accurate claim creation, payment posting, and denial remediation using Carelogic and other EHR tools.

The position requires at least a high school diploma, with 3 years of Medicaid billing experience in behavioral health and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s preferred.
• Experience with Ohio behavioral health Medicaid billing is required; Carelogic experience preferred.
• Experience with an electronic health record (EHR) system to process claims is required/ preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide billing services for the organization
• Complete billing-related activities including claim creation for various payers
• Process self-pay claims and post payments
• Investigate and remediate claim denials
• Configure Carelogic Billing / AR functions and interact with payer portals
• Maintain compliance with Ohio Medicaid billing requirements
• Support deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
