St. Joseph Institute for Addiction in Port Matilda, PA is seeking a Behavioral Health Associate I for the 2nd shift (12:30-9:00).

This onsite role supports a multidisciplinary treatment team by monitoring client behaviors, providing care, and responding to crises as needed. Responsibilities include supervising clients, conducting safety checks, recording vitals, and engaging in educational and recreational activities to promote treatment goals.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months+ experience with the specific population preferred.
• Knowledge of psychiatric disorders and dual diagnosis preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain a safe, structured environment and supervise clients.
• Conduct safety checks and follow supervision guidelines.
• Check for contraband and manage client belongings.
• Observe client behavior and report significant observations.
• Encourage group therapy participation and activities.
• Record vital signs and report changes to charge nurse.
• Document in client records accurately and timely.
• De-escalate and assist in crisis situations.
